The view across the valley walls is spectacular, and the whole place has a family-friendly feel. This 16th-century residence has a Roman domus in its cellars and has been beautifully renovated, with suites, apartments, a wine museum, and tasting rooms. They offer high-quality local food and drink, including olive oil, Amerina pork butcher's shop, cheeses, and wines. The food and wine are top quality and attractively priced. Organized tours are available too.

There's a wine museum and a beautiful Roman mosaic that's currently being restored. You can take a guided tour for €5, and it's definitely worth stopping by if you're passing through Amelia. The historic building has been finely restored in this beautiful town, with delightful rooms and a restaurant. It also works well for receptions and conventions.

It's a refined, welcoming residence where you can relax and try local delicacies. Dating to the 16th century, it's built over a 2nd-century Roman domus. A family-friendly, romantic base for exploring Umbria and getting outdoors: walking, running, cycling, climbing, rafting, kayaking, and more. Relais, historic tourism, wine and food, sports, and more.

Guests may be welcomed by the owner himself, with help from a young, knowledgeable assistant. This little-known residence has elegant suites, and its frescoed main-floor hall hosts concerts and conferences. The palace was skillfully restored on Roman foundations, with a Domus featuring a mosaic floor. Tastings of local products take place in the former granary, and the terrace next door has spectacular valley views.

The owners are very helpful, and it's a beautiful historic residence. There's a small museum of mosaics and wine downstairs.
