Cavalluccio Marino

The owners were incredibly friendly, and Luna the cute dog was a bonus. We loved the lovely room with A/C and double doors, as well as the beautiful garden and patio. It was a fair price, and we could easily walk to Anacapri town square, the Mount Solaro chair lift, museum villas, Roman ruins, shops, and cafes. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Giuseppina and Antonio were lovely hosts who went well beyond what we needed. We enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast, which included cakes, yogurts, and morning coffee. Cavalluccio Marino is just a six minute walk from the main bus stop, so getting around the small island was easy without renting a car. We had an excellent stay and would highly recommend it.

It felt like having our own little place, with a table and chairs outside the ground-floor room and direct access from the yard. The room also had a coffee machine, which I loved as a coffee drinker, and we were welcomed with water and cola. Breakfast was homemade, tasty, and had both savory and sweet options. My husband is vegan, so Guiseppina baked him small bread rolls and served tasty tomatoes with basil. The hosts were very kind, and the location was great, just two minutes from Anacapri center and the bus stop.

The area is peaceful, clean, and quiet, and the street is pedestrian-only. The place itself has a relaxing, informal atmosphere, with a friendly and helpful host who was happy to accommodate our wishes. Our room was clean and breakfast was nice. It's right in the center of Anacapri.
