Hotel Europa

Breakfast was plentiful and very nice, and the staff were kind and helpful. We stayed as a family in two connecting rooms, with a door between them. One room was dusty, probably because it hadn’t been used much, so I’d suggest giving unused rooms another clean before guests arrive. The hotel was nice, but for the price I couldn’t give it five stars.

Dinner at the buonobuono restaurant was great, and breakfast was splendid too. The rooms were very clean and the service generally professional. Staff wore masks, were polite, and spoke English, which I appreciated since I often struggle in Italy when people working with tourists speak only their own language. I was quite happy with my stay and would recommend it for a short visit. I’ll keep it among my options next time I’m in Ancona.

This worked well for an overnight stay before catching a ferry. The hotel is close to Ancona’s port, has its own parking, and serves breakfast in its restaurant. Our room was a bit small but clean. The staff were very friendly and ready to help with anything. For a walk, there’s a nearby park, or you can head down to the sea.

The interior feels a little dated, but the price, varied and tasty breakfast, clean rooms, and lovely reception staff made up for it. They welcomed our two dogs too. Great people!
