The kids had room to play in the garden, which is beautiful. It’s a lovely family-run place, and even the food, from the starters through dessert, comes from what they grow themselves.

The meal stood out for its simple, tasty dishes made with local ingredients and a real sense of tradition. The people running the place were just as memorable, warm and helpful, and made us feel at home. I hosted my family at Agriturismo Zuccarelli on my wedding night. It’s surrounded by nature, and there was a real feeling of calm and authenticity from the moment we arrived. The property is cared for, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and it’s a good fit if you want to unwind in the countryside. I’d recommend it for its sincere, family-friendly atmosphere away from the bustle.

We were seated at the next table and saw the plates being cleared, so I can judge the food’s quality from that. I don’t understand the gentleman’s negative review. I’d be more worried about apologizing for how his children behaved: they made a mess throughout the room, including the curtains and tables, and shouted as if they were at a playground. The staff at the agriturismo were polite and clearly passionate about their work. The food was excellent, the servings generous, and they were always attentive to what customers asked for.
