The location in Anguillara's old borgo is fantastic, and the cozy studio, with all the rooms open, makes you feel like time has stopped. The fireplace is a real plus in winter. There's so much potential here, but the place feels neglected. The online check-in was a disaster and took far too long, even though I've traveled a lot. It was also very hard to communicate with the well-meaning host, including about other things. I later found out she was using a translation tool. The studio needs work: paint is peeling, the pans are worn out, and the dishwasher doesn't work properly. It wasn't dirty, exactly, but it didn't feel clean either, with dirty dishes and glasses and a sticky bathroom floor. The included breakfast was just a box of processed crackers and croissants, nothing like a proper breakfast. I think eating that for a week would give you stomach or intestinal trouble. I feel bad having to mention all this because the place has so much potential. Hopefully they improve things soon.

We stayed one night as two adults and two kids in a lovely house in a beautiful village perched above the lake. The place looks onto a little square, and the village has charming, narrow cobbled streets. The house was very clean, with everything we needed in the kitchen. The loft bedroom was lovely to sleep in, with roof windows where we could look at the stars. Five stars.

We had such a happy two-night stay in this cozy, clean village spot, in a perfect location. Our hostess gave us tips for finding unbelievably good food and a fantastic local wine. We'd love to return someday.

We loved our six nights in this lovely place in Anguillara. It was just right for the three of us and had everything we needed. The best part is its old town location, which gives it a real local feel. Bars, cafés, and restaurants were only a 5-10 minute walk away.

Our hostess was really friendly and helpful, and the small holiday apartment had everything we needed, though it was very noisy. There’s no terrace, just a table and two chairs outside the entrance. The upper bed would suit younger kids or adults best. The apartment is in a ZTL, so you can’t drive up to load or unload. There’s a paid parking lot right before the entrance, but it was always full. We could hardly find other spaces nearby, and none were free. The last photo of the lake view was taken some distance from the apartment.
