It's a more peaceful, less busy spot than Lake Bracciano, though there aren't any public boats. Getting to the lake is easy without a car: a shuttle runs from the train station and drops you nearby. The ticket costs €1.50-€2.

The lake sunset is spectacular. Anguillara doesn't have much in particular to see, but it's still well worth a visit.
