There are plenty of lakes nearby, and the house is beautiful and well placed for visiting them. The garden and property look lovely, but we couldn't really enjoy them because of how restrictive the owner was. She kept telling us we couldn't do anything, move things between indoors and outdoors, or between floors, and to stay quiet and keep the music down. The hot tub has built-in speakers, but we could hardly use them. Her husband, on the other hand, was very helpful, unlike her. At checkout, she claimed we'd damaged a whole wall and said it needed repainting, just because a spider had been squashed on it, then demanded money. There are a lot of spiders, too, if you don't like them. The kitchen was missing basics like dishwasher tablets or dish soap, salt, oil, and other condiments. The bunk beds were uncomfortable, and without a ladder you have to climb up and down to get in and out. There were ten of us across the two apartments for the weekend, and they left only two rolls of toilet paper.
