The owners are kind and friendly. The room is on the small side but comfortable, and the location is excellent, right in the city center.

From the window, you can see Aosta’s main square, and the B&B is in a super central location. The common area and room both have a lot of charm. Breakfast isn’t included, but each room has juice, cookies, water, and yogurt in the fridge, and there’s a coffee machine, kettle, and dishes. There are city maps, brochures, and books about the area in the shared space too. Check-in and check-out are done remotely on WhatsApp with video instructions. To me, that makes the experience a little impersonal; it’s nice to meet locals who welcome you and share tips on where to go and what to see. The central setting does come with some evening street noise.

The room we got wasn’t the best: it was cramped, the floor was quite dusty, and it didn’t feel very clean. The bathroom looked nice but was too small and poorly kept, with a stained, worn shower tray. The magnetic card door system seemed convenient, but our room door was defective or broken and wouldn’t close properly. When the window was open, the wind kept slamming it open. The main street location inside a historic building is handy, and the apartment, shared kitchen, and little terrace are all well equipped and maintained. Breakfast wasn’t included, though the fridge had water, beer, yogurt, pudding, juice, and complimentary wafers. The value for money wasn’t great. And even though this wasn’t the host’s fault, some rude guest from the other rooms took a yogurt and a pack of wafers from our shelf in the fridge overnight. 🥺😥
