The warm welcome from our host was the part that stayed with us most. She was caring, exceptionally kind, and wonderfully helpful, with a sincere warmth that felt like being welcomed by an Italian mother. She greeted us with local treats. The room was bright, tastefully furnished, and full of thoughtful details. The setting is a characterful 18th-century stone palace, beautifully restored. We came away with an experience beyond expectations and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

At Domus Antica, the hospitality felt wonderfully personal, almost like visiting family in a beautiful old setting. We arrived to find fresh cake and a bowl of fruit waiting for us. The mint fridge was stocked with snacks, fruit, and champagne, all included in the room price. It made the stay memorable, and we’d happily recommend this charming place.

Maddalena at Domus Antica Aosta really goes out of her way to make you feel at home. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and clean, and she keeps the fridge stocked with yogurt, fruit, homemade cake, and other treats. The building is on one of the main walking streets, yet the room was peaceful and felt safe. I loved being able to walk everywhere in town in a few minutes, then come back to my room and its balcony. I stayed before and after a hiking trip in the Alps, leaving my extra bag with Maddalena while I was away. It was reassuring not to have to worry about my things. My second visit felt even better than the first, like coming home. She’s an incredible host and person. Highly recommend!

Maddalena is what makes this place. She owns it, hosts guests, and has created a lovely five-room BnB. Her welcome felt so personal. We expected to start with passports and a credit card, but she wanted to shake our hands and bring us into her world first. Each room had thoughtful treats: chocolates, a sliver of homemade pie, goodies in the fridge, and fresh fruit from her garden. Maddalena is a real gem.
