So happy to see this place in use again. My wife's family once lived in this town, which made the visit especially lovely.

The location was excellent, and the cleaning lady was very kind. We also found the kitchen clean and well equipped, and breakfast was good. But the bathroom and hallway were cold enough that we had to wear jackets just to use the bathroom. The "Vicoletto" room really needs a small bathroom added.

Antonio was so helpful and kind when we arrived by bike, and the breakfast was generous. The apartment is right in the heart of Apice Vecchio, close to the Castle. Calling it wonderful barely covers it. A top choice.

The one good thing was the location in the historic center. For what I paid, I expected much more. The double room had single beds, the bathroom was freezing, and there wasn't enough water for a shower, so my partner couldn't shower. When I was in the shower, the power went out because the meter couldn't handle it after I switched on the bathroom heater. I had to go out into the street while wet to restore it. Then I couldn't dry my hair because the plug wouldn't fit the Bosch hairdryer socket.

Spending the night in an "uninhabited" village made for a unique experience. The B&B was well looked after, and the owner was warm, friendly, and helpful.
