The beds were comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were clean. For the price in Milan, it was good value overall. I stayed in a women’s dorm with four single beds. One of them was more like a cot than a proper bed, and there weren’t enough usable outlets for five people to charge their phones. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel, but there was no kitchen or shared space.

The hotel is clean, though clearly old, and you can see that in the furniture. It’s a nice location, about a 30-minute walk from the center, with buses available too. The price was very low, and I didn’t regret choosing it.

We weren’t allowed to keep the room key, and the manager couldn’t speak English. The room was too cramped for four single beds, leaving no way to open our suitcases. Two bunk beds would have worked better than four singles.

The beds were good to sleep in. It’s a cheap hotel, but the doors looked as if they’d once suffered serious damage, almost like they’d been ripped open.

It’s not close to a subway station. Towels for the shower aren’t included, so you have to pay extra for them. Also, you have to leave your key at the desk whenever you go out.
