The little town is charming and away from the usual routes, and the whole stay felt a bit like a spa break. Roberto and Elizabetta treated me like family from the moment I arrived. The property is fabulous, an old estate home with its character intact and a huge private garden. My room was comfortable and had modern conveniences, and the bathroom looked very new and modern. Breakfast in the quaint little dining room was delicious: homemade cakes, warm freshly baked croissants, fruit, cheese, eggs, and plenty more. It’s a special, relaxing place to stay in Italy, and I’d recommend it.

The family-run place has lovely 300-year-old rooms with 7m-high ceilings and a cute garden. Breakfast was great, with good vegetarian choices. I’d definitely come back.

Villa Cavadini has a lovely boutique B&B feel and a magical atmosphere. I’ve stayed several times and would happily recommend it.

I woke to the smell of freshly baked croissants, and breakfast was generous and made with care. The historic villa is a peaceful retreat between Milan, Como, and Varese, where it feels as if time has stopped. Its elegant atmosphere is refined but still comfortable and homey, and the owners make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and spacious, and there’s free Wi-Fi.
