Agriturismo Tenuta de Castro

I contacted the host before booking for New Year's Eve because the listing said there was no hot water and had removed it from the amenities. I assumed that must be a mistake, so I went ahead. After I added a new payment method and refreshed the page, the price had suddenly more than doubled. The host said they hadn’t updated the holiday price. But another nearly identical place, with a slightly higher original price, stayed at its listed rate and ended up costing less than the place we wanted, even though it had initially been more expensive. It felt like an unfair way to do business, especially since the increase came after the host saw our interest.

The rooms were wonderfully quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. We were also welcomed with a very good bottle of their own wine. My boyfriend and I spent the weekend here and were met with kindness and courtesy whenever we needed anything. It’s a peaceful spot away from city traffic, while still close enough to Rome for a visit. Sermoneta and Ninfa are lovely places nearby, too. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks again for everything! 😊🌸

A really lovely room, tucked into nature with no noise and total relaxation. The owner was so kind and helpful, and there was a bottle of their own wine in the room. It was excellent. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful one-night stay at their agriturismo, my boyfriend and I. It felt welcoming and was super clean, and we really enjoyed the wine they kindly offered us, which they make themselves. We’ll try to come back.
