We lived in Friuli for a year, and this was our favorite pizza in the area. The staff are lovely, and the atmosphere is nice, especially outdoors. We loved it so much that we took all our visiting family here.

We only ate at the restaurant. The Basilica pizza was great, and the braciola was very good too, with hot, excellent fries. Service and drinks were also very good. The rest of the food was a letdown: the marinated fish was nearly tasteless, and the three mushroom pasta dishes with walnuts (Tagliatelle con funghi porcini e salsa di noci) had no nuts, not even a hint of their flavor. They were only edible after I added lots of salt and parmiggiano.

They were closing at 3 pm, but still made us pizza. Really nice of them! The pizza was very good, thin and crunchy, just how I like it.

The staff were lovely and made us feel at home, and the prices felt fair for the quality. Still, there was little to choose from for vegetarians, and service took a long time. Most of the fish on the menu, around 90%, was frozen. Luckily, my partner found a fresh fish option that wasn’t listed on the menu.

The location is convenient, tucked behind a parking area and close to the historic site. The pizza was cheap, but I was very disappointed with the unprofessional management. They charged me 6€ for a sort of improvised dessert that wasn’t the one I’d ordered.
