They’re small, and that seems to be the only reason this place might pass as a “Boutique”-Hotel. The staff are overwhelmed by even simple requests, and the attitude is arrogant. There aren’t many hotels in Aquiliea, but any of the others would be more pleasant.

Casa Del Neri Aquileia works well for a short visit or a longer stay, with just eight comfortable rooms and an intimate feel. Breakfasts are great, there’s storage and charging for bicycles, and the bar is well equipped with great, inexpensive wine. The hotel manager is also ready to help arrange whatever guests need. For some time to relax, Casa del Neri is the place. Aquileia is charming to visit, and don’t miss the lovely Roman graves nearby.

They’ve clearly hired some fantastic photographers. The area isn’t exactly one of Italy’s “top destinations,” so you can hardly expect much more from a place like this. The caretakers come across as arrogant and self-important, and the hotel is nowhere near the “upscale” image it presents. It’s located on the second-busiest main road. The service staff also seem untrained and overwhelmed by even the simplest requests.

A little jewel in the heart of ancient Aquileia. The rooms are stylishly and elegantly furnished, as well as beautiful and clean. Service is excellent, friendly, and professional.
