Hotel Roma

If you're planning to spend your time actively around Garda Lake, this is a great base. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and breakfast came with tasty local Italian products and good coffee. They also have a large garage where you can safely leave bikes, with an air compressor and tools available. The staff were really friendly and helpful, thank you!

The rooms, pool and breakfast were okay, but the way they handled our ID cards was unbelievable. They kept the cards throughout our stay, which I believe is absolutely not legal, and then didn't return them when we left. Two hours after we'd gone, they called to say we'd left them behind. They wouldn't help and blamed us for it, even though they'd kept the IDs. When we called back, they hung up and immediately threatened to call the police. We drove back to the hotel and were met with yelling, screaming and another threat to call the police. I've never seen a hotel treat paying customers in such an absurd way. The guy at reception shouldn't be working in a job dealing with people. Avoid Hotel Roma in Torbole if you don't want an experience like something out of an Italian mafia movie.

The rooms were spotless, breakfast was delicious, and the owners were incredibly kind and ready to help. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Good value for the money, with clean rooms and a handy location. Breakfast was fantastic in a room overlooking beautiful scenery, and there's a pretty pool too.
