The campsite is closed from October 15 to May 1. The two of us spent one night here with the children in our camper van.

We ended up needing a place for the night after some bad circumstances, and I found this place on Google. I called around 9:30 pm to ask if they had anything available right away. The owner was kind and helpful, and waited for us until 10:15 pm. The room was clean and warm, and the place was quiet and comfortable. We got to experience the heart of the Italian countryside, and shared a breakfast table the owner had set with two other lovely older couples travelling in Italy. It’s conveniently near the highway for anyone driving from Venice to Milan. There’s also a small area for camper vans.

This isn’t really a campsite, just a tiny former backyard. Even though we had a reservation, we were offered a muddy pitch set apart from the car. The owner and location will spoil your trip. A decent campsite in town costs only €3 more.

The family’s nonna gave us a warm, friendly welcome while the farmer was still hard at work, as farmers always are. Mister Vittorio was a friendly host too, and even brought us zucchini and figs from the farm for free. I love getting to try farm produce, and it was a bonus that he speaks English. The small campsite is very cosy and not far from Vicenza, with two well-maintained bathrooms. I really enjoyed my stay. If I pass through the region again, I’ll make sure to visit. 10/10

It’s a very homey place, and the host is incredibly nice and involved. He gave us great advice on things to see nearby. There are about five or six pitches, a beautiful garden, two bathrooms with showers, plus somewhere to wash dishes and dispose of rubbish. Good price, too. We’re on a road trip and will probably stay again.
