La Casetta Del Tiglio

The valley view is breathtaking, and there are plenty of trails and hikes nearby. The surrounding towns and hills make a great base for all kinds of excursions, too. The family running the property are exceptionally friendly and helpful. It’s well worth a weekend, or even a week to explore the Berici Mountains properly. The house is a bit remote, though still reachable. It’s semi-detached and has air conditioning, heating, cooling, and a forced-air fireplace. The bathroom is roomy and comfortable, with a good-sized shower. There’s a nice veranda where the owner serves a generous breakfast made with quality products, even if some are packaged. There’s both sweet and savory food, including jams, yogurt, juice, ham, butter, milk, honey, pastries, and more. The kitchenette is a good size, with an oven, microwave, and toaster. There aren’t many cutlery or cookware items, but it has what you need. You can also eat outside at the table in the back garden. One drawback is the sleeping capacity: there are only three beds. Four might work if the extra guest is a child who can sleep in a cot.
