The moment I walked in, I felt at home. Paolo and Stefania run the place impeccably, and their warmth adds so much to the stay. The interiors blend antique pieces with modern touches in a really tasteful way. This historic building, designed by Palladio, has been recently renovated while keeping its original features and adding modern comforts. Up on the hill, it has 360-degree views across the valleys and hills. I wasn't sure what to expect from the website, but it turned out to be a little hidden gem. What a great stay, this place is a must!

The fireplaces in the shared rooms and the huge wood-burning stove in the ground-floor room make for a really pleasant atmosphere. This welcoming property sits in a beautifully renovated historic building on a hilltop, with a lovely view. It's about 15 minutes from central Vicenza, and I'd recommend it if you're in the area for work or a holiday.

The view is great, and the place is clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it, even if the selection wasn't extensive. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient.

It felt practically like staying in a suite, though it's a bed and breakfast. The extra-large memory foam mattress, parquet floor and beautiful bathroom made it feel like a five-star hotel. The owners were friendly, and I'd gladly come back.
