Villa Michelangelo Vicenza – Starhotels Collezione

I stay at hotel Michelangelo at least twice a year, alone or with family. This time I brought my mother, two daughters, one daughter's boyfriend, and my wife, and they all absolutely loved the stay. We had Christmas lunch with my relatives in the restaurant. As usual, the food was perfect, the scenery breathtaking, and the service second to none. The staff made the experience, from the front desk to the help and restaurant attendants. They were all well mannered and clearly good at what they do. Breakfast was some of the best I've had. The croissant was crisp, and I lost count of how many I ate! Dinner was excellent too, served in beautifully arranged dining rooms with a rustic feel. The rural hill views are among the best, and Arcugano is small enough to explore on foot. A stroll early in the morning or evening doesn't get much better. As you drive up, the first glimpse of the property is stunning, and every walk through to your room reveals another detail, from the door knobs and stair railings to the ceramic plates on the walls. Everything about the place, including the staff and the stay, exceeded my expectations. I already expected a great experience from reading the reviews before booking, but this pristine property gave me even more. It's a complete getaway where you can slow down and enjoy nature and heritage architecture. Definitely consider booking if you're reading this.

The communication from the staff before our arrival already suggested this stay would go well. A few nights before check-in, Roberta from the front desk emailed to ask whether we'd need a cot for our one-year-old grandson. When we arrived, Meri gave us a warm welcome at check-in. Patrick and Mateo looked after everything we needed by the pool, and Davin made checkout memorable. I reserved three rooms at Villa Michelangelo Vicenza for a family gathering this past weekend, and it was a fantastic decision. This is an incredibly beautiful 18th-century country house of Vicenza's aristocratic Tomi family, with meticulously manicured grounds and staff who exceeded all expectations. Everyone was impressed by the rooms, which were well appointed and full of charm. The colors were perfect, the beds very comfortable, and we all slept peacefully. The grounds looked absolutely picturesque from our rooms, like something out of a storybook. Breakfast was wonderful, with so many options, and well worth the cost. We'll definitely be back, and highly recommend Villa Michelangelo to everyone!
