The bed collapsed under my partner and me around 11:30 p.m., just as we were nearly asleep. We were in the family room at B Palace with our two adult sons, on the way to Rome airport. Since it was so late, we didn't think anyone could help, and we spent the night on the broken bed. The room itself was adequate for one night, and the staff member who checked us in had given us very good service. I reported the problem to management in the morning. They blamed us and said we'd jumped on it, insisting, “Before you came here the bed was perfect”. We're a responsible Canadian family and wouldn't do that. We felt the bed must already have had structural issues. We expected an apology and a refund for the night, or at least a partial one, but they refused and were rude and unprofessional. Our whole family was shocked by the disrespectful way staff spoke to us. Based on that morning's experience, I wouldn't recommend B Palace.

Fresh vegetables, really good olives, friendly waiters, and a lovely sea view. This is where I had the best mixed salad I've ever eaten in Italy. (October 10, 2012)

There's a beautiful view straight out to the sea, and the food is fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. I recommend the place and its staff.
