Gabriella made the best crostata for breakfast and was a very welcoming host. The apartments and bedrooms are simple, but super clean. We love the setting at Casa Podere San Firenze in the hills above Arezzo, with its amazing view over the city. It’s a great base if you enjoy nature, peace and quiet, trekking, beautiful sunsets, olive groves, and the wooded areas nearby. The swimming pool adds to the magic of the olive groves, and it’s only a 15-minute drive to downtown. How could we not come back?

The room was modestly and tastefully decorated, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We found this hidden gem by chance. It’s only a 10-minute drive from central Arezzo, yet sits on a completely quiet hilltop with spectacular scenery and, probably, the world’s cleanest air. I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here on my next visit to Tuscany. Stayed October 2015, traveled as a couple

The owners live on site and were always available, which deserves a special mention. Our ground-floor apartment was very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, including new dishes, a large fridge with freezer, and a dishwasher. We had five genuinely relaxing days there. The place felt warm, welcoming, and typically Tuscan, with a romantic, secluded atmosphere just outside Arezzo. The view over the city was especially lovely on New Year’s Eve, with fireworks above it. The center is only a few minutes away by car.

Breakfasts are generous, with homemade cakes and tarts. This is a peaceful spot high above Arezzo, about 10 minutes from the city center. Excellent. Thank you 🙂
