ALTIDO Villa Anna Como Lake

The dinner made the evening feel special, every course was delicious. Villa Belvedere has a stunning position above Lake Como, and the whole New Year's Eve stay felt magical and luxurious. A lovely way to welcome the new year, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for that kind of experience.

The room had a great view of the lake, and the service was impeccable. There was a fridge and kettle in the room, too. The shower water never got very hot, especially at night, which was the main drawback. The location is otherwise excellent, right opposite the bus station and in the heart of the Agregno.

The restaurant was a highlight, with elegant surroundings, a magnificent view, and delicious food. Each day there were thoughtful little treats in the room, like chocolates and special Easter shortbread cookies. The room itself was simple but adequate, and the hotel is in an incredible location.

Parking was easy, and the room itself was beautiful, with a stunning lake view and direct access to the water. Breakfast was only okay, and a few buffet items seemed past their prime. The service came across as annoyed, particularly at breakfast, where it felt better not to ask for anything. The setting is gorgeous, but the staff could be warmer.
