Silver Lake Residence

There’s free Wi-Fi and it works very well. The kitchen is otherwise well appointed, though it has no microwave. Rooms are spacious, modern, and clean, with stunning lake views from every room. There’s covered parking, but getting a car into the space is a bit of a squeeze.

It’s an affordable place in a great spot, with fantastic views. The apartment was clean and had a full kitchen, bathroom, and even an iron and ironing board, which I needed for work. If you’re renting a car, Americans should take note and get the smallest one possible. My Audi A6 won’t fit in the underground parking, and it barely fits on the streets, so I can’t drive it anywhere without risking not finding another spot. Get groceries before you arrive if you plan to cook. The nearest store is about 25 minutes away, roughly 7 miles. Restaurants are a short walk down the hill, but the walk back up is much longer.

We stayed at Silver Lake for three nights and fell in love with the place and its view. Stefano, Mohamed, and the team were really nice and helpful. The apartment was just as described on the website and very clean, with a good quality for the price. Parking is on site and pets are allowed. We’ll definitely come back next year.

The view from the terrace is breathtaking, and the apartments were clean with everything in order. Before we arrived, Mouhammad messaged us and was there waiting for us. I first booked non-refundable accommodation in April last year, but COVID meant we couldn’t go. We moved the dates to September, then a lockdown meant we couldn’t travel again. We rescheduled to this April and then to October. The Owner was very helpful through all of it. I offered to pay a different amount because the price was from last year, but the Owner said no. Thanks again, and I hope we can return soon! 😊
