Chester Suites

It's a good spot near the Vatican, and the place is clean and nicely furnished. But there's a music venue directly below the rooms, and the noise during our stay made it impossible to rest or sleep. Loud music and a lively crowd carried on past midnight. At first the host said they were surprised and assured us the venue would close soon, but it didn't. After that, we couldn't reach the host until we left. I don't recommend staying here.

Anna, the owner, was lovely and quick to answer questions about restaurants, reservations, and private transport. She also responded promptly whenever we needed something taken care of. The rooms were secure, clean, and nice, with fresh towels and daily cleaning. There's a free espresso and latte machine, and the five rooms have similar sizes and furnishings, which works well for a group. A nice restaurant is right next door, handy for food and drinks after a long day. It's a six to nine minute walk to St Peters. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back to Rome and stay here again. Highly recommend.

The location has a lot going for it: the Vatican is a five-minute walk away, and shops and restaurants stretch for miles through a great neighborhood. The B&B was very clean and well kept, and Anna's service was outstanding. She's super nice and accommodating. The room was a decent size, but the bathroom was tiny, and the setup feels a bit like dorm-style living in the U.S. The rooms aren't very soundproof, and they're at street level. Fruit vendors set up their market on the side street right outside, making a lot of noise from around 8 a.m.

Anna was so kind and helpful, and our stay was a pleasure. My daughter and I loved the location, and our room was lovely, comfortable, and very clean. We'll definitely come back.
