The garden was so peaceful and relaxing, and we enjoyed spending time there. We had a lovely two-day stay, with a great room, lots of amenities, beautiful surroundings, and Sergio as a wonderfully helpful host. It's about a five-minute walk to Trasteverte, where there are lots of excellent restaurants and shops. Buses nearby make it easy to cross the river and get into the old city.

Villa Matissa feels like home in Roma, and I've been coming back for years. Silvio is always helpful and accommodating. The Villa is clean, and the location is ideal. Most sights are within walking distance, with trams, buses, or taxis as easy options for anyone who'd rather not walk. I also like that it's in a quiet part of Trastevere, with lots of good restaurants nearby.

Silvio, the owner, is very helpful, and the villa has a wonderfully relaxed feel. The rooms are spacious, airy, and comfortable, and there's a fabulous garden with a covered terrace. It's in a quiet but convenient part of Rome, with a bus stop just outside the gates if you need it. I'd highly recommend it.

I love Villa Matissa Guest House and stay there every time I'm in Rome. Silvio, the owner, is always helpful and accommodating. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, and reasonably priced. There's a lovely garden with tables at the back where you can relax or eat food from a local market. It's in a great spot in Trastevere, within walking distance of several restaurants and shops, and the area is very quiet.

Silvio made us feel really welcome and was so attentive. His suggestions for nearby local food and places to see were genuinely useful. Villa Matissa is in a lively area with plenty to eat and visit, but our spacious bedroom stayed nice and quiet. We’d absolutely recommend it for a trip to Rome, and we’ll be back.
