The owner is lovely, and the hotel has loads of character. Breakfast is a wonderful little spread, though if you want something more, the bakery next door is fantastic. Anyone after a modern, bland, touristy stay without any flavor might be disappointed.

Sam and his mother were so caring and friendly, and nothing felt like too much trouble for them. I spent eight nights in room 13, which was very nice and clean, and had a wonderful stay. I can highly recommend the hotel. WELL DONE TO BOTH OF YOU, xxx

The coffee is easy to skip. Breakfast was okay, and the hotel itself was average.
