The food was divine, and Sandra's recommendations were exactly right. I'll remember her cacio e Pepe pasta for a long time. Sandra and Rocco were incredibly kind and accommodating. Rocco even drove us from our hotel in Arpino because we'd arrived by train. This restaurant is amazing and well worth a visit.

The restaurant's viewpoint over the nearby mountains and valley villages made for a lovely, romantic atmosphere. We started with an aperitiv plate of local specialties, with amazing and interesting combinations. The mixed grill and grilled lamb were both absolutely perfect, and the lemon cake was delicious too. Everything was magnificent, from the food and service to the atmosphere. A big thanks for this place!

At Ristorante il Ciclope in Arpino, Sandra and her husband Roco welcomed us so warmly that we felt like family. The food was outstanding, from handmade pasta to perfectly seasoned meats, all full of rich, authentic Italian flavors. You can taste the care Sandra puts into her cooking. Sandra and Roco went out of their way with the service, and we're so glad we made new friends. Dining here is more than a meal, it's an experience to remember. Don't miss it if you're in Arpino.

Sunday lunch at Il Ciclope with the family was wonderful. The locally sourced ingredients, described as "0" km, made for hearty, satisfying food that still felt light. The local wines were superb, and the homemade desserts were too. Rocco hosting and his wife Sandra cooking made the relaxed, family atmosphere feel like an extension of their home. With food this good for the price, you'd expect to pay at least double. I highly recommend it and look forward to coming back soon.

We were seated as soon as we arrived. We ordered what we wanted, and it came about 10 minutes later. The fry bread was delicious, and the carbonara was the best. After clearing our plates, the person serving us explained how the carbonara was made. In America, the total would have been $156 with tax and tip. Here in Italy, it came to €52.50.
