La via del parco

We planned a last-minute weekend, thinking we'd just make do, but everyone was so accommodating. We have a baby only a few months old, and they helped with every need. The appetizers were incredible, the rooms comfortable, and the company was lovely. It had a real family feel, and we felt at home. Thanks 🤗

We stayed for six lovely days and were made to feel at home by Lidia and Bruno. Mirko and Federica were kind and helpful too. The food was delicious, the welcome was warm, and the price was great. If you can, stay at least two nights so you have time to enjoy the hospitality, nearby walks, and all that good food. We hope to come back soon!

For a quiet few days, the location is just right. There are well-marked trails nearby for trekking, plus cliffs for climbing. Lidia and Bruno are so warm and kind that you feel at home. The rooms are simple but have what you need, and the food is spectacular, especially the breakfast with freshly made curd cheese.

The main challenge was reaching the place. The mountain roads were rough, winding through vegetation, and there were no signs, so finding it was a real ordeal. We booked two rooms for a Gran Sasso tour with friends. As four men, we wanted separate beds, but that wasn't possible, so we made do with one double and two singles. That was the least of it, though. The owners were very friendly, especially when presenting the bill. We were surprised to pay €60 for dinner: a good appetizer and four pieces of frozen mutton that had been mistaken for fresh fish. We asked for more during the meal because the food wasn't enough, and the second course didn't even include sausages. I expected better quality and ordinary prices from a farmhouse, not such high ones.
