I left after just one night and lost the $700 I’d paid. The place felt so grim that leaving seemed like my only option. In my opinion, better accommodation is out there. I’d booked a double, but was taken to a room with two small single beds. The window shutters couldn’t be opened because scaffolding blocked them, so no daylight came in. The wardrobe was just a carcass, and the toilet flush was smashed. I told the manager this wasn’t the room I’d booked or paid for. They said the beds could be pushed together. I was only offered a double room after I’d told them I’d already left.

I’ve never stayed somewhere worse. There was smoking, people rang the bell throughout the night, and the place felt sex-oriented. The bathroom smell was unbearable and I couldn’t sleep. I’d rather rest in a car or at the train station than stay here again.

The hosts were kind and straightforward, and the service was great. It’s clean and comfortable, with a very convenient spot near Termini station. For the range of advantages, I thought the price was good. Recommended.

The room smelled bad, and the sheets were torn and uninviting. Hygiene was seriously lacking: there was hair and fur that weren’t ours all over the shower, so we had to buy two liters of ammonia before using it. The old hairdryer was split open and seemed dangerous.
