Sot I Volz gave us a very enjoyable long weekend as we came to Carnia for the 2010 Giro d'Italia stage at Monte Zoncolan, as well as some cycling and mountain walks. The historic building was clean and comfortable, and breakfast included a varied spread of local and homemade Carnian food. Daniela, the house lady, was a perfect host. I'd recommend the place to anyone who wants a peaceful, beautiful setting along with a pleasant stay. Both the service and the place were excellent.

We had a nice surprise during our weekend stay. The B&B was clean and welcoming, and breakfast was tasty, plentiful, and made with local products. Highly recommended!

Bringing the whole family together, we rented two units. The welcome was wonderful, and breakfast was both delicious and generous. Every night we ate in the larger rental, which had a fully equipped kitchen. The house fits beautifully into its historic surroundings and gave us a wonderful stay. Our granddaughters were guests in an equestrian setting too. An experience we'd happily repeat!

Carnia is a region just waiting to be explored, and we had a very pleasant, relaxing time there. We were warmly welcomed at a lovely place where the guests were looked after with great care. Highly recommended.
