Getting there takes some effort: Artena's historic center is full of stairs and steep slopes, so you have to carry your bags from the free parking area, a little over three minutes away. The apartment isn't wheelchair accessible. Inside, there's no TV, the Wi-Fi is weak, and one of the double beds creaked enough to disturb my sleep. It has a fan rather than air conditioning, plus a mini fridge for drinks. The apartment itself is cozy and clean, though I would have liked a few more finishing touches. Breakfast was decent, with croissants and homemade cakes, but it was served a long way from the apartment. Maurizio was kind and showed us the route.

Maurizio's helpfulness and courtesy are what made our stay stand out. He was attentive and always ready with good advice. The rooms are comfortable and well kept, and the B&B sits in Artena's unique historic center, which has a magical charm. It was a truly enchanting place and made the stay feel special. I'd absolutely choose it again.

The setting feels magical, and from the top you get a lovely view and a cool breeze, though there are quite a few steps to climb. We spent one night in this wonderful, newly built apartment. Thank you, Mr. Maurizio, for making us feel so welcome!

The rooms have their own character and feel very welcoming, and the family made us feel at home. Breakfast came with a freshly baked cake. For the place and the people running it, I'd give more than one star. THANK YOU!
