La Nova B&M sits in a remarkable spot, inside the Monumental Complex of Santa Maria La Nova, in the heart of Naples. The place dates back to 1279 and is a jewel of Angevin architecture. The rooms are attached to a museum and art gallery, and a courtyard connects them directly to The Church of Santa Maria La Nova. For us, it was one of the loveliest and most peaceful places we visited in Naples. It's also said to be one of Vlad the Impaler's resting places, something Dracula fans may want to know. The rooms are nicely furnished, though without many frills. There's no catering, so breakfast means going out, but it's easy to find coffee and a croissant in the main squares or side streets. If you're after a truly unusual stay, I can't recommend it enough.

La Nova has plenty of character, and it's quite different from the usual. Our room was spacious, with some nice design touches. Being able to visit the museum without the crowds was a real treat. The location is handy for the port, and being set back from the road meant we didn't hear traffic. We did hear music from the Botanical Bar next door in our street-facing room, despite the modern windows. Other reviews suggest the courtyard-facing rooms are much quieter.

The rooms are on the top floor, up five flights of stairs, and there’s no elevator. If the climb doesn't bother you, it's an amazing place to stay, with wonderful views and art that feels otherworldly. It's central to the city's sights, in a safe area, and the room feels like an oasis. I'd highly recommend it.

I had a view over the courtyard from our beautiful room, which had high ceilings and modern conveniences. The hotel is in the middle of Napoli, surrounded by lovely surroundings. The museum was a nice extra, with a beautiful courtyard, church, and 'Dracula's' grave. There are also striking modern artworks around the hotel from several major religions. It's one of the most interesting hotels I've stayed in, and a truly unique choice for Naples.

The church and cloisters were the main reason I chose La Nova B&B. Guests can access them before they open to the public at 9 AM, and they're beautiful. It was also convenient for getting to the port, about a 10-15 minute walk away. But I didn't get the good night's sleep a hotel should provide. Our room faced a busy square, and the music was loud despite the poor insulation. We couldn't sleep until around 2 AM, when it finally stopped. The room was spacious but a little dated, as expected, and the shower cubicle was small. There are a lot of stairs to reach the room, which is tough with heavy luggage if you aren't carrying it on your back. Edit, replying to the owner's response: yes, I stayed at La Nova B&B, but I don't use my real name for Google reviews, so you won't find me.
