We spent a week in the apartment in the house and really enjoyed it. The family was lovely, and the place has a calm, restful feel. It's an authentic, charming house with clean, beautiful apartments. The oil here is amazing, and the hosts really care about the place they built from scratch. It's a gorgeous property, and they're wonderful hosts. Take time to enjoy the grounds and relax by the swimming pool. Asciano, a cute little town, is five minutes away, and Siena is 30 minutes away. With a car, it's a strategic base for exploring the colline senesi. I highly recommend staying here.
The rooms felt a bit old inside, and there's no air conditioning or dishwasher, though it was okay. We stayed here for a wedding at Lazy Olive, and the location worked well since both places are within walking distance. It's run by French-speaking guys.
The people running the place are very nice, friendly, and organized. There's a swimming pool, plus a lovely bench outside where you can sit with coffee or any drink you like. It's close to asciano, but without a car it's not really easy to get anywhere.
