We stayed four nights in September 2023, three of us, and this was one of the top two places among the nine we visited over three weeks. It’s a hidden gem for anyone after a quiet Tuscan setting. The only thing to know is there’s no Wi-Fi or internet, but our mobile data was enough. We swam, read, and played chess instead. The views were exceptional. One morning we woke to mist over the landscape in the early sun, and another evening we watched the sun set over Tuscany from our terrace. The place was very peaceful, with hardly any sound beyond the occasional traffic. Check-in was easy: we met Barbara in Asciano and followed her to the property, where she showed us the facilities, including the pool. She was also very helpful when we called for advice. We visited Asciano, Siena, and San Gimignano, all close by. Highly recommend it.

We spent two weeks here in July 2021 with our 4-year-old. The apartment was so quiet, with a wonderful view across the countryside and a nice terrace for sunny breakfasts. We really enjoyed the swimming pool and its fantastic outlook. The region around Pallazo Monaci is beautiful and peaceful, with lots of lovely villages for walks or a good meal. The location was ideal. Manuela and her husband were available with helpful advice.
