Daniela, Malcom and the team were wonderful hosts, cooks and planners. Throughout our wedding week, they went above and beyond, and we’re so grateful for their hospitality. The food, drinks, decorations and VIEWS were all phenomenal. If you want a memorable wedding, choose the Lazy Olive. We couldn’t have asked for a better one.

We chose a fully vegetarian menu and were so impressed by the food’s taste and quality. Some of it was even grown on site in the beautiful garden. The team are sweet, down-to-earth people who clearly love their work, and every detail, from the setup and flowers to the food, decorations and lighting, was done perfectly. That let us sit back and enjoy a spectacular day. Our September wedding at The Lazy Olive was an absolute dream. Everyone there was fantastic, and we can’t wait to visit again, hopefully soon.

The food was incredible across all three meals we had: the relaxed but flavorful welcome dinner BBQ, the wedding appetizers and beautifully plated dinner, and the generous pool party brunch. Malcolm and his team worked culinary magic, and our guests were blown away. We heard over and over that the food had “ruined” Italian food for the rest of their trips because it was the best they’d ever had in Italy, or anywhere. Huge props to Malcolm, the head chef, and all the talented cooks. Rebecca, the wedding coordinator, guided us through more than eight months of planning for our multi-day celebration. She understood our vision, caught every detail, and was incredibly patient, kind and communicative. What could have been overwhelming turned out to be easy and enjoyable, and she made our dream event happen. The owners, Daniella and Malcolm, are warm-hearted, and that spirit comes through in the whole team. Everyone at TLO was helpful, friendly and lovely. Their warmth made us feel connected and left us wanting to return, and they definitely know how to party! We got married at The Lazy Olive in May 2025, and it was magical for us and every guest. The villa was even more beautiful than we imagined. Our photographers, who shoot in incredible places around the world, said it was their favorite spot for photos because there wasn’t a bad view. All those photos still don’t do it justice.

We still look at the photos every day and feel overwhelmed with gratitude. Our wedding was joyful, personal and deeply meaningful, everything we hoped for and more. We’re already counting down until we can return to TLO. Planning a destination wedding blindly from over 5,000 miles away felt crazy, but from our first call the team assured us calmly and confidently that we were in good hands. They were right. Nine months later, our wedding is still the talk among our guests. The venue in Asciano was breathtaking, with scenery and an atmosphere that felt straight out of a magazine. The food was phenomenal, thoughtfully prepared, rich in flavor and truly fine dining. Impeccable service made the whole experience stick with everyone. Daniela, Malcolm, Rebecca and the entire staff welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. In just three nights, they became people we’ll never forget: attentive, trustworthy, warm and excellent at what they do. We’re grateful for a team so dedicated to making each moment count.
