The amount we agreed on over the phone wasn’t what they asked for at check-in. They’d quoted a price per person, not per room, without making that clear. I wouldn’t call what we got breakfast. When we asked for a hair dryer, we were told they couldn’t provide one.

The bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied and was dirty, and the mirror had no light, so it was practically impossible to see ourselves. For breakfast, I was told to check the lockers. They didn’t ask us for documents or give us a receipt. Nothing feels worse than being treated badly as a guest.

Despite what an English woman wrote, the B&B really is clean, and the woman who runs it is kind and polite. It’s very close to Ascoli Piceno’s historic center, with supermarkets, food shops, tobacconists, and churches nearby. I highly recommend it!

Stefania gave us a warm welcome and was friendly, helpful, and extremely kind. The period building is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and the location is central.

The room was dirty, and they only take cash. They advertise parking, but that isn't true. Same old scammers.
