I loved the food, especially the olive oil. I often have bread with salt and olive oil, and the steak, risotto, and pasta were all delicious. I ended up eating too much! After dinner, it was lovely to walk outside and take in the hilltop view. There are carp in the pond and lizards around the grounds, which are fun to explore. The hotel has rooms with a spa and sauna, so I recommend it to Japanese people like me. The staff are friendly and kind, and I definitely want to come back!💖💖

Il Poggio was a fantastic place to relax, and we had a great time. The room was very clean, the service was good, and the restaurant served tasty food. For exploring the coast and mountains, though, you'll need a car for every trip since it's a few kilometers from the city. Breakfast could use more variety. It's fine for a day or two, but after a week we were getting tired of the same pies every morning. Still, the price and quality were top!
