Lo Scoiattolo

We waited more than 2 hours to check in. The staff seemed inexperienced, unprofessional, rude, and impatient. In the bedroom, the bathroom was hard to access because its door was badly hung. The sink tap leaked, the drain was clogged, and the hairdryer listed among the amenities was missing. Our breakfast table was assigned differently each time. Breakfast itself was poor and low quality. The photos are misleading. I wouldn’t recommend this place, as it can ruin your vacation before it even starts.

We’d heard about it, then tried it a few days ago under the new management and had a fantastic experience. The welcome, services, and staff courtesy all pleased us. This isn’t the sort of place for people who expect a holiday home to look after their parents so they can forget about them. It’s close to the center: the main square in Asiago is a 15-minute walk, and the woods and greenery are even closer, with that refreshing scent of nature. Beautiful.

The staff were consistently courteous and helpful, and happy to suggest activities and excursions. Breakfast was simple but good. We found the rooms clean and spacious, and the property surrounded by greenery, a peaceful setting for a relaxing stay. Great value for money.

The food was authentic, delicious, and served with real passion. Lo Scoiattolo feels quiet and homey. Paolo and Samantha were uniquely welcoming, always kind, smiling, and ready to help. The rooms were spotless, carefully looked after, and smelled fresh. We’ll definitely return and recommend it wholeheartedly! 💚
