Fresh bread arrived at the door every morning at 7, as long as we ordered by phone the day before or at the start of the stay. The ski room has a large heated boot dryer, towels are changed halfway through, and the hostess also takes out the rubbish. The accommodation is new, clean, and warm, with no deposit or extra cleaning fee. The owner wanted payment on arrival rather than in advance. There’s plenty of secure parking in front, away from traffic, and you can speak with the owner in English. The housekeeper is a very kind, patient older lady, though she speaks only German. This is a generally German-speaking part of SUD-TIROL, after all. The house sits on a slope, about 100 metres from the road, with beautiful mountain views and striking sunrises and sunsets. The first T-bar lift and slope are 30 metres away. At the end of the day, you can come back from the Dantercepies gondola lift in Selaronda almost to the doorstep without taking off your gear, about 500 metres. The centre of Selva di Val Gardena (Groden Wolkenstein) and the nearest shop are a kilometre away. Respect the place, it’s worth coming back to.

You’re right by the slopes, in a welcoming and comfortable place. The view of Sassolungo is incredible. Highly recommended.

The small studio is bright, comfortable, and very clean. The house and garden are kept in great shape, the bed is really comfortable, and the location and view are special. The hosts are friendly and helpful, too. The kitchen could use better equipment, so bringing knives from home is a good idea. The bedding was too warm for summer, and a lighter sheet would have helped us sleep better. We’ve stayed in Val Gardena (Gröden) several times and have always had good accommodation, but this was the best so far. We’ll try to book here again for our next holiday.

The owners are lovely, and the apartments are spotless and in impeccable condition. The residence is in a prime spot, with breathtaking views in every season.
