The staff were so helpful that they stayed after hours when we ran into trouble on our way to ortesei. They were the friendliest people we met on our trip through Europe. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast was very high quality. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

On my first visit to Selva, I found a clean, welcoming building and a room that felt nearly brand new and was just right. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I’d make a point of staying here again.

We only had 3 days here and wished we’d booked a much longer stay. Even though we arrived very early for check-in, the welcome was lovely, and they offered us drinks while we waited for the host. They let us into our room early, too. It was spacious, spotless, and had an incredible balcony view. The staff were friendly all the way through, and breakfast was an outstanding spread, a great start before exploring the Dolomites each day. I’d give the place 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend.

After a full day on the slopes, it was so convenient to have top-notch food downstairs at Speck Keller. It’s one of Selva’s oldest and most popular spots, so you’ll need a reservation for one of the 6:30 or 8:30 seatings. The Gondola is only a short walk down the street, and the week-long ski stay was easy thanks to the secure, private ski storage. It’s large and air-warmed, so skis, boots, helmets, and gloves were dry and warm by morning. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices, with eggs and coffee made to order quickly. Our balcony room was perfect for two, warm and comfortable, with a rain water shower head and bidet in the newly remodeled bathroom. This small boutique hotel is thoughtfully designed throughout, blending an authentic Alpine feel and Tyrolean warmth with a sleek, contemporary style. It’s family owned and run, and the friendly staff keep everything spotless. The host was responsive and accommodating, with mountain and ski rental suggestions and good conversation. Restaurants are close by on foot, too. We’ve stayed in many parts of the world, and this was one of the most charming, comfortable, convenient, and hospitable experiences we’ve had.
