For seven years, my husband, who also played golf there, and I came for summer lunches and dinners with family. After what happened recently, we won't return. They charged us 100 euros without warning for a “private call room.” Then, at dinner on the same day as our lunch, the main operations manager, Mr Andrea, made us leave our assigned table and said we couldn't come just for tea, even though we'd had lunch and dessert there. He was openly rude and red with anger, despite the place being empty much of the time. We said we'd never come back. Andrea replied that he'd rather keep the place empty than have us sitting there. Are we too well dressed for this mountain place?! Thanks to Andre, we found a much better restaurant with a beautiful panorama: Linta Hotel. Meltar has a fantastic atmosphere and setting, but the people managing it make the place unbearable and shabby. Very rude and unprofessional. And frozen tiramisu in Italy? Seriously? They need to change the management, from the last waiter up to the restaurant's general manager.

This was my second visit, and again I couldn't get a relaxing night's sleep because of a wedding or event. A little warning from the hotel staff would really help.

We spent the whole day at the golf club, which is an amazing place. The setting is beautiful, the attendant professional, and the food good, with impeccable service. Recommended!
