The food and service were close to abusive in quality. I skipped most of the meals I'd paid for, and either went hungry or walked to get pizza. The rooms are sparse, but functional. I liked having a private bathroom and a courtyard view, and it was very peaceful. The meeting room was fantastic. The coffee bar was great too, though I wish it stayed open longer. Front desk service was always terrific. Thank you.

There was a quiet, spiritual feeling throughout the place, in the spirit of St. FRANCIS, and I plan to return soon. The grounds include an art gallery, a library, and a chapel, which suited me as someone who meditates. Our clean room was adequate, including the bathroom, and the balcony looked out on a spectacular view with birds singing. The location was great and the staff were very friendly. We only ate breakfast, and it was very good.

From our room balcony, we had a beautiful view over the surrounding landscape. The photo was taken from there. The place has lovely energy, and the helpful, friendly staff made it a perfect base in Assisi, close to all the sights. I loved it.

The location is excellent, parking doesn't cost anything, and the price is very reasonable. The room, though, was bare minimum and had an unpleasant smell. Dinner was the worst I've had during my 80-day trip in Italy. The lettuce and fruit were rotten, which was unacceptable. I attached a photo as evidence.

This is my favorite place to stay in Assisi. The staff are helpful and friendly, the location is hard to beat, and the atmosphere has a sense of Christian peace. I love it here!
