The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff gave excellent service. We had a lovely Italian breakfast every morning, cappuccino included. The property is beautiful, just past Assisi, with fantastic Tuscany views. The drive up and around the mountainside beyond Assisi is part of the fun, with beautiful scenery appearing at nearly every turn.

The grounds are beautifully kept, the food is very good, and the staff are lovely, helpful, and keen to make your stay a good one. The pool is large and has a useful shape, not a kidney bean. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk into Assisi, which didn’t bother us. We were put in the annexe for our second night. Those rooms are larger, but the soundproofing is poor, especially between rooms. Still, I’d highly recommend this hotel.

We spent our honeymoon here and had an awesome time. There’s a bus stop less than two minutes from the hotel for getting into Assisi. Or you can stay put, enjoy the view and use the pool. For a romantic trip, ask if a private spa session is available. It’s worth it!

The hotel and its surroundings are kept meticulously. Great location, staff, and food. I’d come back.

Everything went flawlessly for the 26 people I brought to Assisi on pilgrimage. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless, and the welcome felt personal from the beginning. The owner himself checked us in and was around each day during our stay. After visiting Italy four times, I’ve yet to find a more welcoming and accommodating hotel than Hotel La Terrazza. It’s easily one of the best I’ve experienced. I’m already looking forward to returning to Assisi and staying at Hotel La Terrazza again.
