Il B&B Degli Artisti

Palmi is a beautiful town, and the location was great. The room was spacious, the kitchen had snacks stocked, and we loved the artists theme. Emilio was a kind and gracious host, and we had a great stay.

The beds were very comfortable, and there was a generous range of breakfast choices, along with different kinds of pillows and blankets. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and the kitchen very nice. They paid a lot of attention to the details. Highly recommended!

It was the worst night I’ve ever booked. We reserved a double bed, but when we arrived he said we had to pay more because there were two of us, as if a double bed were for one person. He gave us no bill. Parking was also an extra charge, even though Booking showed everything as included. We left our car behind the B&B and went for a walk. When we returned around 1 a.m., the homeowner had taken photos of our car’s plate. We asked why, but he drove off in another car. I called him again to ask, and he only spoke Italian, so I handed the phone to my wife, who is from Italy. He still didn’t answer us, and we called the police. We filed a police report, and they said they would check our car during the night. It was a nightmare. He couldn’t speak English, so there was no communication. Breakfast was a croissant that had to be ordered at check-in, but it tasted like butter, not the original flavor. We also wrote to Booking about him. So weird.

Very clean and extremely well organized. The location was good, and breakfast was good too.
