Paola gave us a warm welcome and sightseeing tips that helped us choose the best places to see with limited time. Her apartment made a lovely base for our great week in Tuscany. It’s an old country house, with a green courtyard where you can sit outside in good weather; the decorated walls and furniture give the rooms a feel of traditional Tuscan life. From the airport it’s about a 20-minute drive, and a free Park and Ride lot is five minutes away by car, with a tram from there to Firenze city centre. We’d definitely come back.

We all slept really well at Borgo Ponte. It was peaceful and away from the noisy city, though still close to Florence city center, just a 10-minute bus ride. I even got to play a 200 year old grand piano. We’d definitely return.

What a charming B&B. The old building, antique furniture, and wooden ceilings give it an authentic historic feel, and it was all super clean. The garden patio is gorgeous, full of flowers and herbs, with cicadas singing in the evening. Our hosts were sweet and incredibly helpful, and there’s an excellent restaurant almost next door. I wish we’d stayed longer.

My friend and I stayed here last October, and it made the trip extra special. The rooms were clean and simply beautiful; ours had the piano and was breathtaking. Paola was such a sweetheart, very accommodating and informative, and an AMAZING cook. Her breakfast was DELICIOUS! Allesandro also gave us lots of helpful information about where to go, eat, and shop. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast and can’t wait to return. Thanks again, Paola and Allesandro!
