The host was friendly and very helpful. It's a modest but welcoming room right in the heart of Florence, just steps from the Duomo, which you can see from the window. A handy place for tourists who mainly need somewhere to sleep and want the city's sights within easy reach.

Having Carrefour across the street was handy for affordable lunch or dinner, and it stays open until 10:00 PM. The apartment is convenient, close to the Duomo, and has the comforts of home. There can be some late-night noise. During the holidays, we heard quite a lot.

The location is extraordinary, around 100 meters from the cathedral, and the price is affordable. Relais Duomo Adelais is actually a room in a building you'd never guess from the street. Inside, there's a bathroom, hardwood floors, a TV, air conditioning, and a mini-kitchen with a refrigerator. You can choose a king-size bed or two singles.

My room was small and clean, with a little bathroom, in a very large dormitory near the Duomo. The street is lively and noisy both day and night, and there was also noisy construction work nearby during my stay.

Just steps from the cathedral, this was a really cozy apartment. The owners were kind and helpful. We'll come back.
