A quaint, small hotel run by a sweet lady, and the best price in town.

My family and I found Hotel Santa Maria a relaxing, authentic place to stay in Assisi, and I'd happily recommend it. The rooms felt surprisingly roomy, with plenty of space to move around, which was welcome after walking the hills. They were also very clean and carefully looked after, with a quiet atmosphere that made for a restful night's sleep. The owners' hospitality was the standout. They were genuinely kind and ready to help, and you can tell they care about their work and each guest. With its comfortable rooms and warm welcome, it was a great fit for our stay. I'll be back.

We spent four days here over the May 1st weekend and felt right at home. It's family-run, and Mrs. Lisiana was very kind and helpful. Her husband was always available too. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and motorcyclists can feel their bike is safe here. The property is a little dated, as if it was built in the 1990s, but it was spotlessly clean and had new mattresses, making for a comfortable bed. The location is excellent, close to Assisi and the highway junction. Recommended.

The owners were very kind and helpful, and the room was spacious and spotlessly clean. It's a quiet hotel in a good location, with convenient free parking on site. Recommended.
