The views are beautiful, and the apartments are lovely. It’s a great base to set off from when visiting Assisi or Spello.

There’s plenty of room in the garden, which worked well for us with children, and the location is handy for visiting Assisi and the Porziuncola. The owner was very kind. A couple of things could be better: the tablecloth was extremely dirty, probably because it hadn’t been washed. With hungry little ones, I didn’t tell reception and just covered it with napkins. Also, the second bed was in the living room, where light from the garden lamps came through the partly glass door. I hung up a bath towel to block it, though replacing the small purple curtains with darker ones might help.
