Hotel Le Grazie

The staff really made this place for me. They were friendly, patient, bilingual, and ready to help with anything. The owner, Francesco, deserves a special mention as a perfect host. My room, 206, had a partial view of Assisi from the window. It was comfortable, spacious, clean, and inviting. The location is ideal for visiting Assisi and has excellent access to the train station.

It's well placed for getting to Assisi and s.Mary of the angels by car or on foot, and the stay was good in some ways. But the room and toilet weren't clean enough for me. During my two nights, nobody cleaned the room or changed the bathroom towels, not even the rug. I had to hold the shower head because there was nowhere to hang it. The duvet had no cover, and the mattress was far too soft and probably old.

I really disliked staying here. The mattress and furniture were uncomfortable, and there was a moldy smell in the room. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude when I asked for another key. She snapped that they only give one key per room because it was unnecessary, even though there were three of us. It was a real inconvenience, since one person had to stay up and let the other two in. I don't recommend this hotel at all.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. It’s a good hotel, and I already want to go back!
